SHOW OFF YOUR TALENT AND CELEBRATE HUNGARIAN CREATIVITY AND STYLE!
ReConnect Hungary has opened the “Hungarian Treasures” Artisan Competition and Exhibition.
We encourage all Hungarian-themed original works of: embroidery, folk costumes, furniture, paintings, carvings, jewelry, pottery etc.
Competition extended to ages 18 and older only (residents of the US and Canada). Entries are accepted from June 1st to August 15th, 2021
All entries will be judged by ReConnect Hungary alumni and AHF Executive Director, Melissa Katko Peppin.
RESULTS WILL BE POSTED: September 6th, 2021. An exhibition of all entries* will be held from September 7th to September 17th, 2021 at the American Hungarian Foundation (AHF) in New Brunswick, NJ.
TOP 10 WINNERS will be displayed at the Hungarian Consulate in NYC for 10 days from September 8th, 2021.
TOP 2 PRIZES include Dinner with the Hungarian Ambassador and overnight stay in Washington, DC.
All donated entries will be auctioned at the Hungarian Consulate in NYC on September 18th, 2021 at ReConnect Hungary's Fundraising Dinner: "Culinary Flight to Budapest".
